• Users can delete their trees and associated messages at any time through the app settings.

1.3 Social Sharing Features

• The app allows users to share their Christmas trees on social media platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp).
• Shared content includes tree images and shareable links that direct to the tree messaging system.
• Social media sharing is handled through native platform APIs and does not require additional data collection.
• Users control what they share and can revoke sharing permissions through device settings.

1.4 Leaderboard and Community Features

• The app includes a leaderboard system showing top trees by message count.
• Leaderboard data is anonymized and shows only tree names and message counts.
• No personal information is displayed on leaderboards.
• Users can opt out of leaderboard participation through app settings.

1.5 Data Storage and Security

• User account data and Christmas tree information is securely stored on Firebase backend servers.
• All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS with end-to-end security.
• Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Christmas messaging service.
• Users can request complete data deletion through the app or by contacting support.

1.6 Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers to operate and improve our service. All third-party services are carefully selected and comply with data protection standards.

• The app is not suitable for all age groups. Parental supervision is strongly recommended for users under 17.

2.2 Refund Policy

• Used credits for premium features are non-refundable.
• If credits are not delivered due to a technical error, please contact support within 48 hours.
• Subscription refunds follow Apple App Store and Google Play policies.
• Refund requests may be denied in cases of abuse or suspicious activity.

2.3 Managing Purchases

• Always check your current credit balance before making a purchase.
• Subscriptions are automatically renewed via Apple/Google Play.
• You can cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a MY TREE : MESSAGE Pro subscriber, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy.

By using any of the Services, you agree to the collection, use, storage, processing, disclosure and cross-border transfer of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use or access the Services.

MY TREE : MESSAGE is the entity responsible for the processing of your personal information and is the data controller in respect of such processing. 1. INTRODUCTION

MY TREE : MESSAGE allows users to receive messages through their social media. This is how it works:

• The MY TREE user ("App User") generates a MY TREE : MESSAGE link and then uses the link to solicit messages from anyone with access to the link (the person sending a message is a "Message Sender").
• When a Message Sender clicks on the MY TREE : MESSAGE link, they will be taken to a URL where they can send a message directly to the App User. The App User also has the choice to post the messages and App User's response to the App User's social media accounts.
• MY TREE : MESSAGE does not store the name or social media handles of the Message Sender and cannot reveal this information to the App User or to others. MY TREE : MESSAGE may reveal properties of the Message Sender or other MY TREE : MESSAGE users to the App User. See "How We Disclose Your Personal Information" for more information.
• To protect the safety of our users, we employ AI content moderation services.

2. HOW WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect information about you from a variety of sources, and the type of information we collect depends on how you interact with our Services – such as whether you visit our website, download and use the MY TREE : MESSAGE app, or send messages to App Users through the Services.

Personal information you provide to us:

• Month and year of birth - We use this information solely to determine your eligibility to use the MY TREE : MESSAGE app as required by law.
• Account information - Such as the username that you provide when you download the MY TREE : MESSAGE app. We use this solely to create and manage your account.
• User-generated content - Such as photos uploaded for your profile or messages sent through the Services. We use this solely to provide the messaging functionality of the app.
• Feedback or correspondence - We use this solely to provide customer support and respond to your requests.

Personal information we automatically collect:

• Usage information - We collect this solely to provide the Services and improve app functionality.
• Device data - We collect this solely to ensure app compatibility, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain security.

• MY TREE : MESSAGE Pro subscribers - We may disclose certain information about Message Senders and other MY TREE : MESSAGE users with MY TREE : MESSAGE users who have purchased a MY TREE : MESSAGE Pro subscription.
• Service providers - Third party companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate our Services (such as customer support, content moderation, hosting, analytics, identity verification, fraud detection, payment processing, and database management).
• Third parties in connection with a business transfer - In connection with a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy or dissolution.
• Third parties to ensure safety, security and compliance with the law - As needed to comply with applicable law, cooperate with law enforcement, enforce terms of service, for fraud prevention and safety purposes.

4. HOW YOU DISCLOSE INFORMATION TO OTHERS

You may choose to post the responses that you receive through the Services to your social media account. The settings of your social media account will determine which other individuals will be able to view these responses. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of information on these social media platforms.

5. PRIVACY OF INDIVIDUALS UNDER 18

Our Services are not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. The MY TREE : MESSAGE features are not suitable for all age groups, and parental supervision is strongly recommended for users under 17.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without the consent of the individual's parent or guardian as required by law. If we learn that we have collected personal information through the Services from an individual under 13 without the consent of the individual's parent or guardian as required by law, we will delete it.

Our services are hosted on Cloudflare and Firebase infrastructure. We may transfer your personal information to our affiliates, service providers, and other third parties that support the Services globally through these platforms.
